- I already carpool, am I still eligible?
Yes, however, you do have to complete
a weekly Commute Diary to be eligible.
- What happens when I go on vacation?
You will be allowed up to two weeks
(10 days) vacation/sick days during April through June; however, you must
still complete your Commute Diary and indicate "did
not go".
- What if I or my carpooler is sick and cannot commute to work 3
days a week?
You will be allowed up to two weeks (10 days) vacation / sick days
during May to October; however, you must still complete your Commute Diary
and indicate "did not go."
- What if I add new people to my carpool?
Have them complete the registration
and list you and your carpool members on the reservation form.
They can join at any point during the promotion, assuming we have not reached
our maximum participation level of 25.
- What rules must the carpool follow to
be eligible?
We are only concerned that you carpool with at least one other person in
the car three days a week. Each carpool should determine its own
procedure for who drives and how much each participant pays to be part
of the carpool.

- Can I carpool with a spouse or family member?
Yes, as long as you follow the other program requirements.
- Can I still participate if my employer provides a commute subsidy?
Yes, this program can be used along with any employer-provided program.
- Can I alternate between carpooling and using the CordoVAN?
Yes, as long
as you are using alternative commute transportation at least 3 days a week,
you remain eligible to receive the $50. With prior approval, you can even
bicycle to work and receive $50.
